1. AB de Villiers (31 Balls) vs West Indies, Johannesburg, 2015
Ab de Villiers places in 1st Position in Top 10 Fastest Century in ODI. He is one of the Best Batsmen in the world who has made too many records.
De Villiers is one of the players who made a record of fastest 100 in ODI cricket in just 31 Balls. He is also known as Mr. 360 Degree. He scored 149 Runs in just 44 Balls which is very fastest and along with that he also smashed a record-equalling 16 Sixes. Now he is the caption of South African ODI (One Day International) Team.
2. Corey Anderson (36 Balls) vs West Indies, Queenstown, 2014
New Zeland All-rounder Corey Anderson and also one of the best all-rounder. Corey broke a record that had stood in 18 years by hitting a century in just 36 Balls and in that inning he smashed 14 Sixes and scored run at a strike rate of 278. Anderson smashed 131 not out in 47 Balls as well as New Zeland beat West Indies in that match.
3. Shahid Afridi (37 Balls) vs Sri Lanka, Singapore, 1996
In 1996 Match was played in Singapore between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka lost that match by 82 runs. On this match, Shahid Afridi made a record of Fastest Century. 5. Brian Lara (45 Balls) vs Bangladesh, Dhaka, 1999
Brian Lara is a legend in the world of cricket. Lara is famous not only in West India but also around the world. He made the record of 5th quickest century overscored in ODIs against Bangladesh. It was made in 45 Balls at a strike rate of 188.7. He smashed 117 Runs and hit a total of 18 Fours and 4 Sixes. West Indies scored 314 Runs and won the match by 108 Runs.
6. Shahid Afridi (45 Balls) vs India, Kanpur, 2005
Shahid Afridi, Pakistani All-rounder and 6th No. in Top 10 Fastest Century in ODI. He made another record of the fastest century record in just 45 Balls. Afridi scored his 2nd fastest hundred. In the 5th One Day Cricket series against India, Kanpur in 2005. He knocks 10 Fours and 9 Sixes after this inning when he got the title of “Boom Boom“.
7. Jesse Ryder (46 Balls) vs West Indies, Queenstown, 2014
In which match Correy Anderson smashed his fastest hundred in just 36 Balls, New Zeland player and Correy batting partner Jesse also knocked the fastest century in 46 Balls. And this was the 7th fastest 100 in ODI cricket. He hits a total of 104 Runs and hit 5 Sixes and 12 Fours and scored has run rate at a strike rate of 203.92
8. Joss Buttler (46 Balls) vs Pakistan, Dubai, 2015
Joss Buttler is a wicket-keeper batsman of England. England scored a total of 355 Runs and Joss spectacular inning of 100 in 46 Balls which helps England team to build a massive score. As well as he made a record of the fastest century and hit 8 Sixes and 10 Fours in his inning. Even the boundaries in Dubai’s ground are not that short but still, he managed and scored (116 Runs in 52 Balls). Pakistan never won that match and defeated by 84 Runs.
9. Sanath Jayasuriya (48 Balls) vs Pakistan, Singapore, 1996
Sri Lanka’s former opener Sanath Jayasuriya played a brilliant inning against Pakistan at Singapore in 1996. He hit 11 Sixes and scored a total of 139 runs at a strike rate of 206. In ODI career Sanath scored more than thirteen thousand runs at a strike rate of 91.20 he made the fastest century (at that time) in 48 Balls and beat the record of Mohammad Azharuddin’s (62 Balls).
