Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus with 1.8 GHz Octa-core Processor.
Xiaomi is launching Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus Smartphone. Xiamoi global spokesperson Donavan Sung showed off the two smartphones images on twitter which are Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 plus.

Now Redmi 5 video teaser also spotted but the video doesn’t show much about the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 plus specifications. It has a nearly bezel-less design. Specifically, both of them will facilitate the design around this, as the trend of this year.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Specification
The major change that we can see when we look at the design of the device is that the device comes with minimal bezels and 18:9 display instead of the 16:9 display.
Redmi 5 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch HD+ (720*1440) display.
This smartphone comes in three different Ram size – 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB as well as three storage 16GB, 32GB and 64GB and also have an expandable micro SD card (up to 128 GB). It has 3200 mAh battery just little bit smaller than Redmi 4’s battery. Redmi series with metal body and rear fingerprint sensor. It contains a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The weight of Xiaomi Redmi 5 and 5 plus is 157 gram. Both phones are run on 1.8 GHz octa-core processor with Snapdragon 450 SoC. It is based on Android 7.1 Nougat.

Redmi 5 plus larger than Redmi 5 there is no big difference in both of the phones just Redmi 5 plus display larger then Redmi 5. In this plus 5 has 5.9-inch HD+ (1080 * 2160) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It will have a full view display for your better Experience. This feature is most probably like Redmi 5. It could also sport a large 4000 mAh battery. It also has 5-megapixel sensor up front with LED flash and 12-megapixel rear cameras like Redmi 5. Redmi 5 plus has narrower bezels than Redmi 5.
Redmi 5 and 5 plus both the phones will look identical and will only difference is display size. Both smartphones contain the metal body and also fingerprint sensor. This phone will be available in Black, Pink and Blue color.
According to Recent IDC figure, Redmi 4 and Redmi note 4 were the most popluar phone in the country. Apart from this Xiaomi claims the tittle of India’s number one smartphone brand. We probably dont know how much Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 plus cost but yes it will be on our budget.
Redmi 5 has been priced for the Black and Gold colour at $199 (approx Rs 12,800) and $209 (approx Rs 13,500) for the Pink and Blue colour.
In adition Xiaomi recently launched Redmi 5A this phone is also a cheaper phone. A budget range phone which cost is 4999 Rupees ($78) with 4000 mAh battery and snapdragon 425 processor.
